Smart Print Silk PLAIt provides a glossy, silk‑like surface that catches the eye. Special inhibitors increase durability and color depth. Ideal for decorative models, artworks, and exhibits. This is the most eco‑friendly plastic used for 3D printing. PLA is widely used for 3D printing because it is easy to work with at low temperatures, parts do not deform and it is odorless. PLA is not very heat‑resistant – it starts to soften at about 50‑60 °C, so it is unsuitable for high‑temperature parts.
