PLA Luminous is a filament that glows in the dark, absorbing light and emitting it in darkness, making it perfect for decorative or artistic prints. It contains phosphorescent particles, so a solid steel tip is recommended for long‑term use. It is the most eco‑friendly plastic used for 3D printing. PLA is widely used for 3D printing because it is easy to work with at low temperatures, parts do not deform and it is odorless. PLA is not very heat‑resistant – it starts to soften at about 50‑60 °C, so it is unsuitable for high‑temperature parts.
